Hiding Your Emotions or, Perhaps Not

December 9, 2008 · Leave a Comment

While most facial expressions last for two or three seconds, micro expressions last only a fraction of that – 1/25 of a second. They occur when people are deliberately concealing how they feel, or, when people have blocked from awareness (repressed) the emotions they are experiencing.

You can learn to recognize the emotions concealed in micro expressions in under an hour. Some branches of the U.S. Government, Fortune 500 companies, and Medical Professionals have already found this useful in their work.

Try the demo on this SITE to see how accurate you are in assessing facial expressions of anger, fear, sadness, disgust, contempt, surprise and happiness, when the individual is trying to conceal the emotion.
