The Great Global Warming Scam (Or, Why the IPCC Screwed Up)

April 11, 2008 · 1 Comment

Ok, I haven’t a clue what the chart below means except, apparently it explains why the Inter Governmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) screwed up by announcing that global warming is an established trend. Click on the graphic to take you to a boffin’s explanation.

There are just so many variables in trying to model something as complex as global climate change plus, the science of climate modelling is still in the early years of groping for understanding.

The temperature trend which caught the IPCC by surprise is shown below. The climate scientist who put the above chart together says

Since late 2001, the trend of global surface temperatures has been downward. “Global warming” stopped in 1998; and, though it may resume in future years, the rate of warming is self-evidently less than that which the IPCC had expected, and is very likely to be harmless.

Some politicians (eg. Al Gore) may still finish up with egg all over their face having jumped on the band wagon of global warming.

The BBC should be ashamed of themselves, as should Dr. Ian Stewart in his recent scam pro-alarmist ‘Global Climate wars’ trash series. Dr. Stewart, an employee of a publically-funded university dependant on government pro-alarmist grants, clearly can’t be blamed for trying to secure his own future employment- but shamefully so at the expense of true science. I am sick and tired of seeing trash TV ‘mocumentaries’ about drowning polar bears and rising sea levels about to engulf us. It’s pure flim-flam that wiser TV scientists like Professor David Bellamy dismisss as scandalous lies and that denies the basic fact that greenhouse gases have been pumped out by volcanoes into the atmosphere over billions of years in orders of magnitude vastly greater than mankind has in the last 150 years. Whether the global temperature is falling or rising it is far more due to the sun and Mother Nature than that insignificant self-important species: homo sapiens.
